Spoonfed offers an ordering and delivery service from our Partner Restaurants throughout Dubai and elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates. Each Partner Restaurant has a prescribed delivery area. If you live outside the delivery areas, a message will appear on screen notifying you that ordering online will not be possible. We do not accept orders from individuals to a post code in which we do not have a Partner Restaurant. Operating hours will vary depending on local trading conditions and the availability of our Partner Restaurants.
When you place an order through our Service, an email thanking you for your order and confirming your order has been received and accepted by the Partner Restaurant (the “Confirmation Email”) will be sent to you by us on behalf of the Partner Restaurant. The contract for the supply of any Meal you order through us will be between you and the Partner Restaurant and will only be formed when you have been sent the Confirmation Email by us. Please ensure that you have given us a correct email address as this is how we will communicate with you about your Order. Please also ensure that you provide an accurate address and telephone number to ensure that your Meals arrive to the correct location. Our delivery guy will reach your door with your order. If you do not open the door or respond to telephonic correspondence within 10 minutes of our delivery drivers physically reaching your address, we reserve the right to leave the premises, and you will be charged for the Meal.
Spoonfed allows the customers to place orders from restaurants from areas where Spoonfed operates. Once the orders are placed, the order is communicated to the restaurant via merchant app. Once the order is ready, it is picked up by Spoonfed designated delivery personnel to be delivered to the customers.
All deliveries are charged a fee of 6 United Arab Emirates Dirhams. Under special circumstances such as festivals, offers, discounts or promotions the delivery fee may be waived off.
Spoonfed relies on third party restaurant to prepare the food. Spoonfed uses its own delivery personnel to pick up and delivery the items to customers.
Our current areas of operation are Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Al Karama, Jumeira Lake Towers and Barsha.
Delivery time – The customers are given an option to choose the most suitable delivery time as per their convenience. All deliveries shall be delivered within a period of 2.5 hours from the time of Delivery slot chosen by the customer.
You shall be entitled to a refund only if you pre-pay for your order at the time of placing your order on the Services and only in the event of any of the following circumstances:
(i) your order packaging has been tampered or damaged at the time of delivery;
(ii) us cancelling your order due to (A) your delivery location falling outside our designated delivery zones; (B) failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking; or (C) failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking; or
(iii) you cancelling the order at the time of confirmation due to unavailability of the items you ordered for at the time of booking.
(b) Our decision on refunds shall be at our sole discretion and shall be final and binding.
(c) Refunds for cancelled orders or when one or more items are not available are done through bank and reflection of funds in your account is subject to bank regulation
(d) Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment.
In case of payment at the time of delivery, you will not be required to pay for:
(a) orders where the packaging has been tampered or damaged by us;
(b) wrong order being delivered; or
(c) items missing from your order at the time of delivery.
(a) As a general rule you shall not be entitled to cancel your order once you have received confirmation of the same.
(b) However, in the unlikely event of an item on your order being unavailable, we will contact you on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform you of such unavailability. In such an event you will be entitled to cancel the entire order and shall be entitled to a refund in accordance with our refund policy.
(c) We reserve the sole right to cancel your order in the following circumstance:
(i) in the event of the designated address following outside the delivery zone offered by us;
(ii) failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking;
(iii) failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction or authorisation from you at the time of delivery; or
(iv) unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order; or
(v) failure due to reasons beyond our control or attributable to the Vendor.
(i) Upon successfully placing an order, we shall send you an SMS and an E-Mail confirming the order.
(ii) We shall send the confirmation to the registered mobile number and E-Mail with in 10 minutes of successful order confirmation.
