Layers of flavor for your taste buds. Shape of Turki Pathil is similar to Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey (perhaps this explains the origin of its name). The dish originates from the Malabar region of Kerala where for many years homemakers have refined and perfected the art of snack making. Each Turki Pathil has four layers of fried dough bread with filling of meat, egg and suji (rava) masala between the layers.
